When we went out that morning, you wore that had that’s blue
that hid your face. You were distracted the whole time, looking for a woman.
Which is fine to do, I’m only your sister, not a pretty short dress.
But I know you’re looking for a particular woman, she’s up in her castle.
But when you get to her fancy castle
you should bring something to woo her, something blue,
something old, something new, she’s not any old woman.
And if you want to be really daring, you should pick out her dress.
Because it’s the most important thing, she’ll want the right dress
and have the perfect setting like an ocean view castle.
The photography would be great against the sky and water with all that blue
and right there you’ll know if she’s right, if she’s the right woman.
And if she’s not the right one you can find another woman.
Maybe in a bridal store over by the white dress
and then find a different setting like a skyscraper not a castle.
She could be the one with those eyes of deep blue.
I bet she’ll have blue hair, a really quirky woman
and she’ll buy her own dress and you’ll live in your future castle.
